What is Reyds Hisense Repairs?

Reyds Hisense Repairs helps Johannesburg users book repairs through 22 pages covering faults, advice, emergencies, service areas, and quote requests.

How quickly can you get to my Hisense fridge in Johannesburg?

Most booked call-outs across Johannesburg are completed the same day. For emergencies — a freezer not freezing or a fridge full of stock at risk — we prioritise dispatch and aim to reach you within 90 minutes where possible.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

There is no call-out fee when you proceed with the repair. We provide a written diagnostic and quote first; if you accept, the diagnostic is included in the repair. If you decline, a standard call-out fee applies.

Do you use genuine Hisense parts?

We use genuine and OEM-equivalent parts suited to your specific Hisense model. Where a genuine part is unavailable, we use a verified equivalent and always tell you which is being fitted.

Is there a guarantee on the repair?

Yes. All repairs carry a 6-month workmanship guarantee, and fitted parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. If the same fault recurs within the guarantee period, we return free of charge.

What information do you need to book a repair?

Your name, contact number, suburb, the Hisense model number (found on the rating sticker inside the fridge), the appliance type, the fault you're seeing, and your preferred date. Uploading a photo of the model sticker and the fault helps us arrive with the right parts.

Do you repair Hisense freezers as well as fridges?

Yes. We repair Hisense chest freezers, upright freezers, and the freezer compartments of combi fridge-freezers — including sealed-system, defrost and compressor work.

Can you fix a Hisense fridge that is not cooling at all?

In most cases, yes. A Hisense fridge that runs but doesn't cool usually has a failed compressor relay, thermostat, evaporator fan, defrost component or a refrigerant issue. We diagnose the exact cause and quote before any work starts.

What areas of Johannesburg do you cover?

We cover the greater Johannesburg metro including Randburg, Roodepoort, Northcliff, Fairland, Linden, Greenside, Parkhurst, Parktown, Houghton, Rosebank, Melrose, Illovo, Bryanston, Fourways, Lonehill, Douglasdale, Rivonia, Sunninghill, Midrand, Waterfall and Kyalami.

How do I pay for a repair?

We accept cash, EFT and card payment on completion of the repair. You only pay once the work is done and your Hisense is cooling correctly.
